oh my gosh- all I can say is WOW- I have just only tonight stumbled across this web site- how precious you all are and how very real. The song that comes to mind "This is the air I breathe"- that always brings tears to my eyes- that is how I want to be with Yeshua. I have been learning the lesson of the "S" word- surrender and in His Grace- Yeshua gives back to us 10 fold when we do- at least that is what has been happening here when He pries our fingers loose from some of the things, people and animals we hold dear. Bless you all - so looking forward to meeting you precious Mishpokah on the other side. Messianic gentile- have always loved Jewishness my whole life that I can remember.

In my case the battle (economic, health, multiple disasters, job, etc.) has been going on so long I somehow got caught up in it and forgot what is really important.

I blamed it on being tired but forgot this is a race of endurance. Only Messiah can refresh us when we are tired. Only HIs Kingdom will provide us rest at the end of the race.

Thanks for bringing me back to reality. I can breathe now.

maybe now we can learn to be true students of messiah in our discomfort of these times.I for one understand with things of life being out of way, there's no distraction to be poor of worldly possesions I have nothing else to lose but my life, and I've already given that with all my heart.peace to all in Yeshua

Amazing. The part of us not truly understanding that what we consider poor is not truly poor is right on. We have become too accustomed to the pleasures of life and want of them that we forget that it is Him that put us in the situation to have them, and can take them at any time. Focus on him, do your best, and don't worry, whatever you can't afford but need--and maybe (if it does not violate His will) want--the One who gave them to you will pick up the tab.
