I’m going to be praying for your upcoming book publishing project.. My prayer also is that everyone who is able to give financially will whole heartedly. Also, that those who desire to give but don’t have it at this time will be blessed to give whole heartedly.
Please remember, G-d is faithful and where He guides, he also provides. There are streams in the desert.. I’m a witness.

I pray you are guided by HaShem in

It discourages me that so many of the Messianic Leaders in the US continue to separate Gentile from Jew. I realize I’m a negative comment and understand if you choose not to post my comments. What about “your people shall be my people” and the instructions of Torah apply to all, including the sojourner among you.
So much division, and it breaks my heart. Thank you for taking the time to read, and again, I fully understand if you choose not to post my comments. I’m just very discouraged that I’m instructed that Torah observance is for the Jew only. While my grandfather was a Jew, it was on my maternal family side, that rabbi’s declare I am a non Jew and therefore not part of the family so to speak.
This has kept my own immediate family from embracing full Torah Observance. I don’t live in the Phoenix area, so I just journey alone.

Shalom Kay,
Thank you for your reply. Actually, “The Gentile Believer in the Jewish Movement” explores the role of the sojourner in depth. It’s a message of inclusion for the sojourner within the Messianic Jewish Movement, not of division or separation. I think you will want to read this one when we publish it (whether it turns out to be the next one or not!).

All three books are truly needed. But first and foremost should always be to worship and praise our G-D…….
Bless His Holy Name……

I’m torn between “The Gentile Believer … ” and “Giving Adonai His Due” . However, since I am Gentile I chose the first title. I have questions that I can’t seem to find answers to, and I am torn between worshipping at an evangelical church or a messianic congregation … I want to have an intimate relationship with Yeshua, however, I don’t want my worhip of Him to just be a ritual, or going through the motions … which really can be done either place. I need wisdom and guidance …
Blessings to you and your family, Kevin! Shalom!

Well, my first love is always loving Yeshua first….so, I think that as I worship Him “first”, He will guide me in all the other “issues” that I long to know about….which are the other books listed to be published. I can not possibly learn all my heart longs to know about G-d on this side of our journey “home”…..so, I fully trust G-d to bring me, His Bride, to know and be about all He has for me in His plan for ‘me’……that keeps me from falling into any ‘traps’ set by the enemy also…….keep up your wonderful work….sharing your word and works with others. Blessings, Chrissie Joy

I too, can relate to Kay. I am a non Jew. As far as I know there are no Jews in my geneology. Last year I was so dsicouraged by the constant, “Our Jewish people” this and that in my congregation, that I contemplated leaaving. When I questioned the associate rabbi’s wife about us being one people, on the same olive tree, she was offended. I do not understand the separatism. Almost half of my congregation is non-Jew. I wish the talk separatism would stop. I do not believe this was Yeshua’s intent.

Alicia and all,
One of the issues that I will tackle in the “Gentile Believer in a Jewish Movement” book is alluded to in the title: there are a lot of Gentiles in the Messianic Jewish Movement, and yet… it’s a Jewish movement. How is that supposed to work? I won’t go into detail here, but the book is written expressly for people like you—to help you find your place in relation to Messianic Jews in the Messianic Jewish Movement and feel at peace. I understand your reaction to a situation that would make you feel like leaving the congregation. The book will be a great encouragement to you to help you feel settled in your calling in the Body of Messiah.

Kevin,
I also think that the book on Gentiles in the Messianic Movement is the very important issue at hand. I was praying about speaking to our congregation this coming Shabbat about this very issue, but have been directed to speak on the importance of the Jewish people in end times. I am Jewish and have been in the Messianic Movement for fifteen years. When the thrust has always been to evangelize the Jew, my direction has been to go to the Gentile and change their thinking which in turn will get Jews saved. The Jewish people are the key to world revival, but the Gentiles believers are the key to Jewish salvation by drawing them through jealously of Torah. May Adonai be with you in your decision. Am Yisrael Chai

Thank you, Yosef. Be assured, even if the “Gentile Believer” book is not what we publish next, it won’t be far behind!

I believe a Messianic book on the subject of Praise & Worship is very much needed among our movement right now. Unfortunately, I see far too many Messianics missing out on the TRUE meaning of what Praise and Worship really is. There are many who won’t give honor and respect to The Lord during worship time in service, by even standing up and praising. Then you have the other extreme, where you find those who love to join in the circles to dance, merely because it’s FUN or because it’s the Messianic thing to do, without really having a heart of worship and adoration unto The Lord. I also find it a problem when Messianics define “Messianic Music” as a seperate genre of it’s own, which can only consist of Davidic-style worship/Jewish flavor. I believe we as Messianics are missing out in the Greater picture of what God has instore for us. Messianic music, is just what the word implies… any kind of music that glorifies and exalts Messiah, whether it may be in the form of classical, worshipful, rock, rap, mainstream christian-style worship. It’s sad to see Messianics limit themselves to only “Messianic” music, yet critisize and won’t even give Christian music a chance (which in most cases, is very worshipful). I believe we have much to gain from including both in our worhsip services. Messianic music is Great and I love it!, Yet most of it, to be honest, is prophetic and talking about The Lord, and that’s good, yet we must also and mostly use songs during our worship time in service that is “Worshipful”, that is sung Unto The Lord in adoration as opposed to about The Lord.
I believe when we as Messianics can stop critisizing Christian’s as much as we do, and start to embrace what unites us, which should be our love unto The Lord, then The Ruach Hakodesh can make room to move freely to bridge the gap between us, and then and only then can spiritual eyes be opened to The Lord’s will for Jew and Gentile. His will has always been to see His people worship as One Body in Messiah. For in Messiah there is no distiction between Jew and Gentile. Let us not forget that those that have been grafted in, through Messiah Yeshua, our now co-heirs [with] the Nation of Israel as well.
In Yeshua’s love!

Oh, Kevin…All the hurting people…I can relate to all the messages already posted. I’m gonna vote for the worship and not JUST because I lead worship in our congregation. Only in His presence will we ever be able to stop the madness of trying to legitimize our own identities and be at peace with the fact that HE WANTS US, ALL of us. AND we need to be with Him. As a leader I think the things that I see that disturb me most are 1) rabbi’s &/or pastors that do not worship during service, preferring to stand around talking to people, biding their time till they get to do their thing, 2) songs that are self centered, 3) Focusing too much on Israel instead of the Lord. Ouch! I know that may be harsh. I recently read that worship is the act of ascribing worth to God…that He has inherent value. If we’re talking about ourselves, about Israel, or to the people around us, we’re not worshiping GOD…we’re not crediting Him with the value that He should have in our lives. Hhhmmm, we’re not giving Him His due…V’ahavta.

I think that in the times we are living that praise and worship of Adonai is truly needed. Living that kind of life will let Yeshua reveal Himself to those hurting around us. Thank you for tackling all of these projects.

Shalom Kevin,
I just wanted to say as a Messianic Rabbi in the movement for the last 3 yrs there is a huge need for 2 things 1.) The true meaning of worshipping Yeshua. We need to mature the body by teaching them how to worship and what is involved in really worshipping Adonai.
2.) Instructing the gentile of their MAJOR ROLE in the Messianic movement. And teaching them how not to have an identity crisis. I have been in the movement for 11 yrs and was orthodox for a very long time before I came to Yeshua and one thing I can say is that there is a major identity crisis within the body. Our identity does not come from being jewish or gentile it comes from Yeshua.
thank you Kevin for your work.

I really pray that you choose “Giving Adoni His Due.” If we are ever to see the Bride come into full maturity, and usher in the Lord’s return, we must do it through our praise of our God. I am excited to hear your insights Kevin, as a Jewish believer and student of the word. We gentiles have a little insight but you are one of God’s “chosen” people. If Paul could change the world so much by his preaching, I can’t wait to see what a bunch of Jewish preachers will do!! We’ll go home fast!!
