Once again you have succinctly captured what usually takes me about 15 minutes to explain. Yes. I agree with you that our role as Messianic Jews is to bring the message of salvation to the nations. We are that Royal Priesthood as Kefa declares.

But I have a question that I struggle with greatly - how do the secendents of Aaron and Zadock (the cohanim) fit into the modern messianic movement today? As you can see by my last name this is very personal, Though I can trace back at this time 4 generations, this does not guarantee anything, I just know what stirs my heart and soul when I read Mal'akhi chapter 2, particularly verse 7. My spiritual "gut" tells me that this is the call and work of the priesthood today. To me, this passage just overwellmingly complements/confirms the calling I sense in my life. So, to more pinpoint the question - do you see this passage in Mal'akhi as speaking to the physical decendents of the priesthood reunited into covenant relationship with G-d or to the greater body of believers (as you spoke of) fullfilling the role of the priesthood? Your view will be much appreciated.
